The Future of Our Business

We’ve had a lot of questions about whether or not we’ll be continuing as a business now that Drew is gone. The answer to that is, of course. It’s been a long road of hard work from the whole family to get to where we are, so we’ll keep going and hope we can make Drew proud of what we achieve now, and in the future.

Michael, (Drew and Irene’s eldest son), has been sharing the role of Cidermaster with Drew for some years now, so the cider and perry are in good hands.

Another question that has been cropping up is ‘Is there anything we can do to help?’ and the answer to that one is, yes there is. We are a small family run business. We don’t have corporate money or expensive advertising agencies supporting us. We work the orchard and we make products that we’re proud to put our name to. That means something to us and we hope that it means something to you.

You can help us, and all family businesses like us, by supporting us, by telling people about us, and by using your influence as consumers and customers to ensure the protection of producers who truly care about what they are doing, and what they are creating for you. Small, locally run businesses offer more than products and services, they offer memorable experiences, character, worthwhile knowledge and meaningful connection. Those are things you will never find in a generic superchain and we believe they are qualities worthy of preservation.

We hope you agree.

Cheers, The Henry Family.
